January and February were busy trade show months for Mariner! Here is a recap of the shows we were excited to be exhibiting at:
MANTS (The Mid Atlantic Nursery Trade Show) in Baltimore, MD January 5-7, 2011. MANTS is widely know as The Masterpiece of Trade Shows with over 960 exhibiting companies and buyers representing nearly 4,000 companies! 2011 marked a modest increase in attendance over 2010.  The National Green Centre Show was held this year in St. Louis, MO January 9-10, 2011. NGC is presented by the Western Nursery & Landscape Association. Attendees were amazed with the many varied continuing education workshops as well as all of the new products and exhibitors. Learn more about the National Green Centre Trade Show here.
The SIA Snow Show 2011 was January 27-30, 2011. This was the second year for the SIA Snow Show to held in Denver, CO after spending many years in Las Vegas, NV. By all accounts the 2011 show was well received by retailers, exhibitors and attendees. Apprehension within the winter sports marketplace seems to be lifting as we enter 2011. From the Denver Big Air, a two-day international ski and snowboard competition presented by Sprint, to the On-Snow Demo/Ski-Ride Fest held at the Winter Park Resort, this trade show was electric and very high energy!  ProGreen Expo 2011, with over 650 booths and 140 seminars, was considered to be a success and time well spent. Held in Denver, CO February 8-11, 2011, over 6,500 buyers were able to see the latest trends in research, products and equipment. Attendees also had a choice of many seminars with topics ranging from Best Pruning Practices for Flowering Shrubs to Managing Pesticide Spills. Click here to visit the ProGreen website.
